CS-01 – IT Infrastructure Support Analyst (Stream
1) and IT Developer (Stream
2)

Successful candidates will support the organization’s Information Technology (IT) environment and a wide range of IT services. Responsibilities include the activities identified in the two streams below:

• Installing, integrating, configuring, monitoring and testing components in the computing environment.
• Installing, maintaining, supporting, configuring, and troubleshooting public interface devices, such as public information terminals in kiosks, websites and automated call centres, and software on multiple platforms.
• Logging, monitoring, investigating and resolving problems.
• Updating and maintaining hardware and software inventory and monitoring system component performance and usage.
• Providing technical advice to colleagues and clients.
• Preparing local guidelines, procedures, reports and documents.
• Supporting backup and recovery processes and procedures for the computing environment.
• Administering and issuing user identification (), user profiles and security passwords.
• Ensuring that security policies, standards and procedures are followed and understood.
• Assessing the impact of hardware and software changes on the computing environment and identifying IT procurement requirements.
• Programming IT solutions.
• Testing IT solutions and products.
• Writing technical specifications and documentation.
• Identifying and resolving problems.
• Providing technical assistance to colleagues and clients.
• Contributing to the enhancement of procedures.

• Developing commercial off‑the‑shelf solutions such as SAP and Microsoft Dynamics.
• Working with data, analytics, and artificial intelligence tools, e.g., Python, Datastage, Power BI, Amazon Quick Sight, Cognos.
• Designing and maintaining large‑scale environments and solutions running on cloud, mainframe, and/or distributed infrastructure.
• Collaborating with experienced teams across Canada.
• Contributing to services Canadians rely on every day.
• Building experience across diverse technologies and environments.
• Enhancing skills in a continuously evolving IT landscape.

Proof of education required:
Official transcript or letter of attestation.

Essential staffing requirements may include: second language evaluation (if the position is bilingual) and suitability.

• Willingness to work overtime.
• Willingness to travel.
• Willingness to work on evenings and/or weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg.
• Driver’s licence.
• Willingness to work shifts or a flexible schedule (including weekends and statutory holidays).
• Physical work from a CRA office.
