Join CIHI as a Junior IT Technician focusing on health data systems. Deliver technology support related to end-user hardware and software in a collaborative work environment.
This role in Toronto or Ottawa is critical to ensuring effective IT service delivery. You will diagnose and resolve technical issues for users while adhering to best practices in ITIL processes and information security. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented approach are essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide timely responses to technical service requests
• Conduct maintenance and installation of laptops and peripherals
• Oversee the lifecycle of desktop devices and maintain IT inventory
• Offer solutions for medium complexity tech problems
• Assist in creating documentation and standard operating procedures
Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 1 year working in desktop support environments
• Proficiency in configuring Windows systems
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Bilingualism is a plus
