Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Windows Administrator to join our Windows systems administration team. This role focuses on hands-on technical expertise to ensure the stability, security, and performance of our Windows server environment. The Windows Administrator will contribute to operational excellence and collaborate with IT team members to align systems with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical:

• Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows Server environments.

• Ensure system reliability and performance through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.

• Maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies to minimize downtime and data loss.

• Execute patch management, updates, and security measures to protect systems from vulnerabilities.

• Administer virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware, Simpli Vity, Citrix) and cloud services (e.g., Azure AD, Microsoft 365).

Collaborative Duties:

• Work alongside local and global IT teams (network, security, database, and application teams) to support and implement integrated IT solutions as part of day-to-day activities.

• Follow and contribute to standard operating procedures, documentation, and best practices.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to improve infrastructure efficiency and scalability.

• Support budget planning efforts by providing input on hardware and software needs.

• Adhere to organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Minimal education level:
Bachelor and/or Master’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science Technology and management

Minimum relevant experience: 10 years

Mandatory Technical

Skills:

• Proficiency in Active Directory administration, including domain controllers, user accounts, group policies, and security settings.

• Expert knowledge of Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy management.

• Strong understanding of networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) and IT security practices.

• Hands-on experience with virtualization environments (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware, Simpli Vity, or Citrix).

• Experience administering email and messaging systems (e.g., Microsoft 365, Exchange).

• Solid understanding of IT security principles, including patch management, access controls, and vulnerability remediation.

• Experienced in migrating applications from one OS to another. Ex: windows .

• Strong ability to troubleshoot complex problems between multiple applications.

Other Requirements:

• Experience in IT service delivery in a global, multicultural environment.

• 7+ years of experience in Windows system administration.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Knowledge of the banking domain and more specifically, investment banking.
