Requirements Gathering:
Collect and clarify business needs, lead workshops, identify business challenges, and propose improvement strategies.
Functional Design:
Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and provide guidance to developers throughout the implementation process.
Data Solutions:
Design data models and develop Power BI reports/dashboards, including functional prototypes (wireframes), adapted to operational and decision-making needs.
Technical Understanding:
Work with data architecture concepts (ETL/ELT, data warehouses, APIs) and understand data flows.
Analysis & Validation:
Explore and validate data, investigate discrepancies, verify calculated indicators, and assist in troubleshooting.
Governance & Security:
Manage data governance, security, and privacy (e.g., Loi 25), including data quality (consistency, reliability, integrity) and access management (e.g., RLS in Power BI).
Documentation:
Draft functional and technical documentation, map processes, business rules, and data flows.
Collaboration:
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and collaborate with various technical teams and roles (PO, architects, developers) within an Agile framework.
Communication:
Act as a bridge between technical and business users, synthesizing and communicating requirements clearly.
Support:
Provide training, support, and guidance to users during solution deployment and evolution.
Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to the optimization of processes, BI practices, and user experience.
What you must have:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of relevant IT experience; OR
Certificate in IT + 4 years of relevant IT experience; OR
College Diploma (DEC) in IT + 6 years of relevant IT experience.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in business/functional analysis for BI solutions.
Experience with diverse data environments (not limited to a single environment like SAP).
Proficiency with Power BI.
Strong proficiency in SQL and data manipulation (TXT, XLSX, CSV, etc.).
BI Knowledge:
Concepts including data cubes, data warehouses, data marts, data lakes, data modeling, semantic layers, and dashboards.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and writing skills; must be bilingual (French/English).
