Responsibilities
Assistin detecting and responding to systemissues andhelp document incident reports and post-mortems.
Support application deployment and stability by collaborating with development and operations teams.
Contribute to automating routine tasks and writing scripts/tools to improve efficiency and system reliability.
Help implement and improve monitoring systems (e.g., Datadog) and build dashboards to visualize system health.
Learn about disaster recovery planning and performanceoptimization andsupport documentation efforts.
Participate in system design discussions, capacity planning, and team brainstorming sessions.
Explorenew technologies, share ideas, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Theroleinvolvesdaily(orregular) communicationwithpan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in software engineering,computerscience, or a related field.
Interest in infrastructure, automation, and system reliability.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an asset.
Understanding of Dev Ops concepts and tools (e.g., Terraform, observability platforms).
Experience with scripting (Python, Bash, or similar) is a plus.
Strong initiative, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
