Data & Software Engineering Tech Lead; Hybrid

We’re seeking an experienced engineering leader to join our Cloud and Platform Security team as a Data & Software Engineering Tech Lead to lead engineering teams and partner closely with security, product, and platform stakeholders to build secure, reliable, and scalable data platforms, services, and workflows. The role sits at the intersection of security, data, and software engineering where you will apply strong engineering fundamentals to complex security and business problems, building the data foundations, platforms, services, and automation needed to improve how security data is collected, processed, analyzed, and used across the organization.

• Define and execute the technical strategy and roadmap for data and software engineering capabilities supporting cloud and platform security.
• Develop scalable, end-to-end data platforms and services supporting security telemetry, risk analytics, compliance, vulnerability management, and related security use cases.
• Design and build data pipelines, APIs, services, integrations, and platform capabilities that enable security teams to efficiently access and act on high-quality data.
• Establish engineering standards, secure‑by‑design principles, and best practices across software, data, and platform engineering to ensure reliability, data quality, observability, governance, resilience, and performance of security platforms.
• Lead solution architecture and technical design, including integration patterns, data architecture, threat modeling, and alignment with enterprise security and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the development and operation of cloud‑based platforms processing high‑volume security telemetry, including logs, alerts, audit trails, vulnerabilities, and asset data.
• Build reusable platforms, services, and automation that enable security teams to solve problems at scale and reduce manual processes.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and engineering approaches to improve security outcomes, analyst workflows, and operational efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and develop engineering specialists while partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver secure, high‑impact outcomes.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, platform engineering, or a combination of these disciplines.
• At least 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role (i.e., Tech Lead, Engineering Manager) with strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
• Experience designing, building, testing, and operating production‑grade software, data platforms, APIs, or distributed systems.
• Experience working with large‑scale datasets and building reliable systems for data ingestion, processing, transformation, storage, and consumption.
