Autodesk is seeking a Senior Cloud & AI Fin Ops Analyst to expand Fin Ops as a service for internal stakeholders. The role combines multi-cloud financial management, business systems analysis, advanced analytics, and product ownership for Autodesk’s growing AI tooling portfolio. You will develop self-service capabilities, reporting, automation, and governance practices covering AWS, Azure, GCP, SaaS AI platforms, developer tools, and foundation-model APIs.

The role partners closely with engineering, finance, product, cloud, and automation teams to improve cost visibility, accountability, forecasting, and optimization.

• Own stakeholder-facing Fin Ops capabilities, including dashboards, reporting, documentation, enablement, automation, and intake workflows.
• Manage the Fin Ops services portal as the primary self-service resource for cloud and AI services, optimization guidance, license support, and budget assistance.
• Maintain the Fin Ops operating model, including roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, and continuous improvement.
• Lead a Fin Ops Champion Network across engineering, finance, and product teams through shared objectives, playbooks, and office hours.
• Establish governance practices covering showback and chargeback, KPI standards, infrastructure tagging, and AI tool user attribution.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports, with defined metrics, data-quality checks, and stakeholder-focused usability.
• Track AI application usage, user seats, licenses, and token consumption to identify under utilization and inefficient usage.
• Analyze anomalies, monthly variances, and major cost drivers, translating findings into actionable updates for technical and business leaders.
• Define allocation logic, reporting standards, and tagging requirements for accurate cost attribution to business units and cost centers.
• Develop repeatable optimization workflows covering detection, recommendations, approvals, execution, and post-change validation.
• Support cloud and AI spend forecasting, budget tracking, variance analysis, effective-rate management, vendor agreements, commitments, negotiated pricing, and discounts.
• Partner with cloud and automation engineering teams to implement guardrails and prevent recurring cost increases.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least five years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Fin Ops Analyst.
• Experience with requirements elicitation, process mapping, stakeholder facilitation, and delivering stakeholder-facing capabilities.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills, including metric definition, data validation, ambiguity management, and data-driven communication.
• Hands‑on experience creating and maintaining dashboards in Apptio Cloudability, Apptio BI, Turbonomic, or comparable platform‑native tools.
• Working knowledge of multi-cloud billing and pricing across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Understanding of SaaS and AI licensing models, including user seats, token‑based usage, and API pricing tiers.
• Experience partnering with technical teams to deliver infrastructure or SaaS lifecycle automation.
• Ability to define automation requirements, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation and executive‑level reporting.
• Customer‑focused approach to setting expectations and improving self‑service visibility.

• Fin Ops Certified Practitioner (FCP) or higher.
