Here is a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities that will fall to you:
* Identify and document the functional capabilities needed to meet business needs;
* Determine the applications and services concerned by the solutions by assessing their dependencies as well as their impacts on cohabitation, performance and security;
* Develop the technological orientations supporting the selected solutions;
* Produce solution architecture files integrating functional and non-functional requirements;
* Represent and popularize solutions using architectural diagrams and models;
* Support the teams in the detailed design, integration and evolution of solutions;
* Define strategies for transition, cohabitation, conversion and retirement of existing solutions;
* Communicate effectively with business partners, functional analysts, managers, scrum masters and delivery managers;
* Ensure that solutions comply with the organization's norms, standards and technological orientations;
* Design solutions based on microservices, event-driven architectures, application programming interfaces, and continuous integration;
* Evaluate design decisions taking into account their impacts on testability, observability, performance, coupling, and application security;
* Establish and enforce development best practices applicable to Guidewire Cloud solutions;
* Mentor developers and act as a technical reference for the Guidewire suite;
* Support the resolution of complex architectural issues and recommend appropriate approaches.

The profile sought is as follows:
* Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science or a recognized equivalent;
* Have at least eight (8) years of experience in solution architecture or a comparable position;
* Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience with the Guidewire suite;
* Participate in large-scale projects requiring the design and integration of complex application solutions;
* Proficiency in Guidewire Policy Center, Claim Center, and Billing Center;
* Leverage Guidewire Suite Application Programming Interfaces;
* Use the Gosu language as well as Guidewire product page configuration files;
* Design solutions based on microservices, web services, and event-driven architectures;
* Integrate applications through application programming interfaces in distributed environments;
* Apply application solution deployment methods in on-premise, cloud or hybrid infrastructures;
* Model solutions using Archi Mate notation and recognized architecture repositories;
* Understand the mechanisms of technological governance and the principles of modern architecture;
* Knowledge of Guidewire's Advanced Product Designer is an asset;
* Hold one or more Guidewire certifications, a strong asset;
* Effectively manage priorities, plan activities and evolve in a matrix environment;
* Demonstrate excellent communication, outreach and influence skills;
* Quickly escalate critical issues with the appropriate stakeholders;
* This position requires working primarily in French, while requiring a functional command of English for day-to-day tasks. This English proficiency is essential to understand documentation and ensure professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada
