About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, IT and Cybersecurity to lead the strategic direction, governance, and delivery of technology services. This role is pivotal in ensuring that technology investments and digital capabilities support the organization's operational execution, performance, and long-term business priorities. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and aligning technology strategy with the company's mandate, leading digital enablement and modernization initiatives, and identifying opportunities to leverage technology for enhanced business performance and employee experience.
Additionally, the VP will oversee IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology risk management, and will be instrumental in the development and implementation of data governance frameworks.
Candidates for the VP, IT and Cybersecurity position at the company should have a post-secondary degree in a relevant field, with professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent considered an asset. A minimum of 10-15 years' experience in senior technology leadership roles, particularly within complex, regulated environments, is required. The role demands a proven track record in leading enterprise technology, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data governance functions, as well as experience in advising executive leaders on technology matters.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, technology risk management, enterprise architecture, IT operations, and data governance practices is essential. The VP will also be responsible for managing budgets, resources, and technology performance measures, and must be prepared for occasional travel. Bilingualism in English and French is a strong asset.
