Senior SQL Database Administrator at TCS

Advance your career as a Senior SQL Database Administrator with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in Canada. You'll manage SQL Server environments while optimizing performance and ensuring reliability in cloud settings.

As a key part of TCS, you're expected to handle advanced SQL administration, primarily focusing on Azure SQL Database and SQL Server.

Your role includes diagnosing performance issues, optimizing T-SQL queries, and implementing disaster recovery strategies. Play a crucial role in database migrations and support TCS's aim to leverage AI technologies consistently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support SQL Server environments, both on-premises and in Azure

• Optimize T-SQL stored procedures and indexing for improved performance

• Design high availability strategies with Always On availability groups

• Manage database migrations, upgrades, and cloud adoption projects

• Automate processes using Power Shell and Azure CLI

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in MSSQL and Azure DBA roles
