Drive technical excellence at Gildan as a Senior Manager overseeing system administration. Lead a global team, ensuring the security and performance of our Windows Server infrastructure.
Gildan seeks an experienced Senior Manager for our IT Infrastructure department. In this role, you will leverage 12-15 years in IT infrastructure with at least 5 years in management. Your primary focus will be to oversee backups, virtualization, and secure operations while managing vendor relationships and establishing operational strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee global engineering team for 24/7 operational support
• Own ITIL procedures, patch cycles, and performance metrics
• Manage the Wintel infrastructure budget and CAPEX/OPEX
• Foster strategic vendor relationships and evaluate contracts
• Collaborate with IT teams for enterprise-wide capability development
Requirements:
• University degree in Information Technology
• 12-15+ years in IT infrastructure/architecture, 5+ years in management
• Expertise in Windows Server, VMware, Azure, and cloud security
• Strong troubleshooting and project planning skills
• Bilingual in English and French for effective communication
