Build trading infrastructure expertise with Linux and Python at Square point during an 18-month rotation programme supported by experienced specialists.
As a Trading Infrastructure Specialist, you will support mission-critical trading software and systems within Square point’s technology stack. Structured training, dedicated mentorship, and exposure to infrastructure and application technologies shape your development. You will learn incident triage, prioritisation, operational standards, and troubleshooting while working alongside the Trading Infrastructure Support Team.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and automate across core trading systems
- Engage service owners on operational issues and incidents
- Support observability, schedulers, databases, and Linux systems
- Automate tasks using Python, Bash, or Ansible
- Maintain monitoring, alerting, logging pipelines, and runbooks
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic Linux knowledge and Python familiarity
- Understanding of hardware infrastructure fundamentals
- Ability to assess priorities and remain organised under pressure
- Good communication skills and desire to continuously improve
Develop practical trading infrastructure, incident management, and automation skills across Square point’s technology environment.
