Broker Manager - Gestionnaire du courtier (QC)
Job Purpose:
Under the direction of the VP Head of Strategic Broker Management, the Broker Manager (Quebec/Ontario) will achieve retention and profitability targets through providing first class service to portfolio of assigned policyholders, managing broker relationships and the commercial underwriting of renewal business.
Key Responsibilities/What You Do:
Reach targets of portfolio growth and quality
- Profitably renew existing policies
- Identify cross- and up-selling opportunities
- Provide commercial underwriting for new business as required
- Take personal responsibility for the implementation of group-wide quality of service standards
- Service existing brokers based on broker segmentation
- Service customer segments based on Operational Manual
- Interact closely with other core functions
- Apply commercial underwriting standards to ensure profitability and quality of customer portfolio
- Other duties and projects as required
Key Requirements/What You bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 3+ years’ short term trade credit underwriting experience preferred
- Ability to profitably retain policyholders and build long-term relationships
- Ability to build strong relationships with broker producers located in region which results in strong renewal business production
- Proficiency in English and French is required for this position, as it involves both oral and written communication with our internal partners, clients across Canada, and other Allianz Trade teams located throughout the Americas region
Build relationships with other core functions (i.e., Risk, Claims, Policy Administration) - Balance commercial and underwriting objectives
- Convert renewals through ability to convince customers and brokers
- Expert know-how in specifics of market
- Ability to build extensive network with close contacts to brokers, market players and opinion leaders
- Strong knowledge in sales and negotiation skills
- Ability to liaise with members of other core functions
- Ability to convince customers in negotiations

Objectif du poste
Sous la direction du chef de la gestion des courtiers, le gestionnaire des courtiers (Québec/Ontario) atteindra les objectifs de rétention et de rentabilité en fournissant un service de première classe au portefeuille d'assurés assignés, en gérant les relations avec les courtiers et la souscription commerciale des affaires de renouvellement.

- Assumer la responsabilité personnelle de la mise en œuvre des normes de qualité de service à l'échelle du groupe.
- Assurer le service des courtiers existants sur la base de la segmentation des courtiers
- Servir les segments de clients sur la base du manuel opérationnel
- Interagir étroitement avec les autres fonctions principales
- Appliquer les normes de souscription commerciale pour assurer la rentabilité et la qualité du portefeuille de clients.

Exigences clés / Ce que vous apportez:
- Baccalauréat dans un domaine connexe
- Expérience de plus de 3 ans dans la souscription de crédit commercial à court terme, de préférence.
- Capacité à fidéliser les assurés de manière rentable et à établir des relations à long terme.
