Reporting to the Unit Manager within the Claims Department, you will evaluate and resolve commercial property claims efficiently. Your responsibilities will include reviewing insurance coverages, conducting thorough investigations, and managing settlements. A strong foundation in analytical skills is crucial for success in this position at Echelon Insurance Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review insurance contracts for claim eligibility assessments

• Collect information and investigate loss amounts

• Negotiate and finalize claims settlements

• Guide suppliers for effective claims investigation

• Prepare necessary correspondence and reports

Requirements:

• Holds a claims adjuster's license in both personal and commercial lines

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in claims required

• CIP or FCIP designation is beneficial

• Proficient in both English and French communications

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
