This role within the Group Reinsurance Solutions Team requires responding to client inquiries for quotes and renewals while ensuring treaty retention. You'll conduct comprehensive underwriting reviews and collaborate with various departments to support strategic initiatives. By maintaining a pulse on industry trends, you will facilitate market intelligence and influence best practices in underwriting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough underwriting reviews and provide recommendations
• Draft and amend insurance treaties for clients
• Propose changes to underwriting guidelines as needed
• Prepare comprehensive operational reports for the team
• Assist with development of new product strategies
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or related field
• 7+ years of relevant industry experience
• Strong analytical and communication abilities
• Bilingual in English and French is beneficial
• Ability to manage competing priorities efficiently
