Product Director Insurance

A career as a Product Director Insurancewithin the Strategy, Growth and Business Capabilities team at National Bank means acting as the owner of an insurance product portfolio. In this role, you will have a direct impact on growth, profitability, and the evolution of the product offering through your expertise in product development, insurance, pricing, and business strategy.

As part of our ambitious growth strategy in insurance and wealth management, you will help build and evolve new growth platforms. You will be responsible for defining the vision, developing the offering, driving financial performance, and supporting the commercialization of a high-potential product portfolio. Working closely with multiple business partners, you will contribute to creating innovative solutions that meet client needs and generate sustainable value for the organization.

• Define and evolve the strategy for an insurance product portfolio to support growth and value creation.
• Identify market opportunities, emerging trends, and client needs to develop new solutions and value propositions.
• Manage the entire product lifecycle, from design and launch to optimization and ongoing enhancement.
• Analyze financial performance, recommend pricing strategies, and implement initiatives to maximize portfolio profitability.
• Develop acquisition, retention, and go-to-market strategies in partnership with various distribution teams.
• Influence and mobilize multidisciplinary teams, including actuarial, finance, compliance, marketing, digital, and distribution stakeholders, to achieve business objectives.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Actuarial Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• More than 7 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry.
• Proven experience in insurance product management and development or retirement solutions.
• Experience in pricing, actuarial analysis, or product profitability analysis.
  
  Experience managing a product portfolio and leading growth initiatives.
• ACIA, FCIA, or FSA designation, or significant actuarial experience, is considered an asset.
