Join our team as a Senior Underwriter specializing in Commercial Insurance. Underwrite and price new business while building meaningful broker relationships in this impactful role.
As the Senior Underwriter for our Commercial Lines division, your primary focus will be on pricing and underwriting new applications and existing policy renewals. You will develop key relationships with brokers ensuring exceptional service while addressing inquiries and delivering responsive support. Your expertise will also contribute to tracking business performance through production reports.
Key Responsibilities:
• Underwrite and price complex Commercial Lines risk applications
• Ensure timely policy issuance with appropriate documentation
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers
• Collaborate with claims and pricing teams for inquiries
• Support customer service initiatives through communication
Requirements:
• 6-10 years of experience in underwriting
• Relevant education or CIP designation necessary
• Advanced analytical and decision-making capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
• Bilingual in English and French is a plus
