This is a cross-functional actuarial opportunity offering broader exposure to financial planning, forecasting and business performance beyond traditional reserving work. • Support monthly financial reporting and reforecasting, including analysis and development of key actuarial and business assumptions.
  • Apply corporate actuarial and reserving knowledge to support forecasting, financial analysis and business planning.
  • Develop and maintain actuarial models, databases, reporting tools and analytical processes.
  • Partner cross-functionally with actuarial, finance, underwriting and other business teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve, automate and streamline recurring actuarial and reporting processes.
  • Prepare analysis, presentations and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of P&C actuarial experience, ideally within corporate actuarial, reserving, valuation or a related financial reporting function.
  • Strong understanding of P&C reserving concepts, financial reporting and insurance financial statements.
  • Experience with IFRS 17 and corporate actuarial reporting is highly preferred.
  • Progress toward an actuarial designation is preferred; relevant P&C corporate actuarial experience will be highly valued.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with actuarial, finance and business stakeholders.
