Join Scotiabank in Montreal as the Manager of Legal and Financial French Translation. Drive excellence in translating vital business materials while guiding a skilled team.
This role entails close collaboration with the Translation Project Specialist to assign and track translation work effectively. You will ensure the quality of translated texts, manage workflows, and cultivate a supportive environment for your team. Participation in departmental management tasks will also be part of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assign translation tasks and oversee project timelines
• Assess and revise text for quality assurance
• Guide and mentor translation team members
• Ensure adherence to department procedures and employee engagement
• Ensure satisfaction of Service Level Agreements with partners
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of relevant translation experience
• BA degree in Translation (English to French)
• Strong leadership skills in translation teams
• Expertise in translation tools and Microsoft Office Suite
• Banking knowledge is an advantage
