Position: Community Interpreter English/Idoma Needed
MCIS Language Solutions seeks a Freelance Interpreter to bridge language barriers in community settings. Help English and Idoma speakers communicate effectively in crucial situations.

This freelance interpreter role offers a chance to support individuals in essential services, ensuring they receive the help they need. You’ll be responsible for providing accurate spoken interpretations, translating documents, and facilitating access to healthcare, law enforcement, and social services. Assignments vary between in-person and remote, providing flexibility in how and where you work.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Fluent in English and Idoma, both spoken and written

• Strong skills in reading and interpreting documents

• Exceptional interpersonal abilities, with a focus on empathy

• Capability to travel as necessary to assignment sites

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
