Become the key player in HSO's communications team as a Bilingual Translation Services Manager. Lead high-quality translation services between Canadian French and English, while managing additional languages in a hybrid work model.
As a vital member of the HSO team, you will oversee the centralized translation function. This includes managing a dedicated team, optimizing translation workflows, and ensuring consistency across formats such as documents and digital education modules. You will work closely with various business units to advise on translation strategies and improve processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the Translation team’s performance and workload
• Oversee delivery of translation and interpretation requests
• Ensure quality and consistency of translations across formats
• Manage external vendors for cost-effective solutions
• Drive improvements in translation workflows and tools
Requirements:
• Fluently bilingual in English and French
• Minimum five years in translation services management
• Experience with AI-assisted translation tools
• Degree in translation studies or related field
• Proven skills in managing large translation projects
