About The Role
Join as Corporate Counsel (Autodesk Consulting) s is an opportunity for a commercial attorney to provide hands‑on, proactive legal advice on strategic initiatives, from inception to execution, while partnering with a dispersed global team. You will manage complex stakeholder needs, reconcile competing priorities, and drive change responsibly and ethically for Autodesk customers worldwide.
Responsibilities- Exhibit strong leadership abilities and credibility.
- Draft and negotiate across commercial, IP, technology and professional services engagements.
- Partner with Sales, Product Support or Professional Services to deliver a customer‑centric mindset.
- Apply expertise in commercial law, intellectual property, data security, privacy, AI, competition law and compliance.
- Communicate complex legal issues succinctly to management in written and verbal form.
- Leverage data to balance business benefits against legal risks.
- Collaborate in a highly matrixed environment, involving subject‑matter experts and driving decisions and outcomes.
- Engage on global projects across all parts of CSO worldwide.
- Build authentic, respectful relationships throughout the organization and bring your whole self to Autodesk.
- Stay curious about technology and energized by its potential to transform the world.
- 5+ years of in‑house experience at a professional services, consulting or technology company with global reach or related law firm experience.
- Exceptional judgment and creativity; strategic thinker who delivers practical advice weighing legal and business objectives.
- Law degree from a recognized university with strong academic credentials.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to be flexible and self‑directed in a fast‑paced environment.
- Customer‑centric mindset and clear communication of complex issues.
- Experience in privacy, AI and data security issues and compliance (CIPP certification a plus).
- Sound legal and business judgment and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to handle change and ambiguity.
- Prepared to travel as needed (5-8x/year).

For U.S.
-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $147,500 and $238,590. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. Additional compensation may include annual cash bonuses, commissions, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package. For Canada-BC based roles, the starting base salary range is $132,800 to $182,600, with similar total compensation options.
