Position: Project Buyer for Aversan Inc.
Aversan Inc. is seeking a Project Buyer to lead procurement activities in Ottawa, Ontario, with a hybrid working arrangement. This role encompasses supplier management, RFX processes, and cost optimization.

As a contractor, you will support end-to-end procurement in aerospace and defense industries. Candidates should have strong sourcing expertise and experience in ensuring timely order delivery. Collaborating with project teams is essential to contribute to business objectives and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage RFx activities and local negotiations for procurement

• Prepare purchasing reports for strategic decision making

• Execute PR, PO issuance, tracking, and invoicing

• Confirm supplier PO receipt and ensure timely deliveries

• Resolve procurement issues and escalate when necessary

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent

• 5+ years relevant procurement experience

• 3 years in supply chain roles, including government

• Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems

• Eligible for Canadian NATO Secret clearance

Optimize procurement processes and supplier relationships while supporting Aversan's operational goals.
