White Glove Services is for the transportation of high‑value products which require product inspection and on‑site installation; we offer white‑glove services throughout Canada with clients in the Financial, Technology, Retail and Healthcare sectors.

Role

The Dispatch Coordinator is responsible for the daily execution of order creation, assignment and updates. This role will communicate on a daily basis with our customer service group and the driver/helper teams. It is also actively engaged in daily internal planning sessions toward workload balancing and process execution. Team members share the responsibilities listed below on a daily basis, contributing as needed based on business and shift requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Order entry / creation in Truck Mate
  • Plan routes for next day, working with other dispatch team members to find synergies
  • Assign orders to trips in City Dispatch and sequence the schedule
  • Manage the day‑off rotation of the driver / helper teams
  • Generate paperwork for the PM warehouse team to stage runs
  • Work with Customer Service to cover same‑day requests and confirm availability to cover all requests
  • Xerox Customer Import as required
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications Include
  • Flexibility to work beyond end of day to support vacation coverage and volume demands
  • Strong MS Office experience and use of Truck Mate an asset
  • Experience in Transportation Management would be an asset
  • Proven organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and multitasking skills
  • Solid oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Work well under pressure

Education
  • Post‑secondary education an asset
  • Bilingual (French/English)
Years Of Experience
  • Previous transportation and/or supply chain management experience an asset
Soft/Technical
  • Highly motivated, creative, and self‑sufficient with the ability to work successfully under pressure, with little supervision
  • Strong oral and written communication and solid negotiation skills
  • Effective time management, multitasking capabilities with strong attention to detail
  • Great service orientation – sensitive to others’ needs and being understanding, pleasant and helpful on the job
  • Applies critical thinking and analytical skills when problem solving
  • Being reliable, responsible and dependable, and fulfilling obligations
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Schedule:

10:30 am – 7:00 pm or 11:00 am – 7:30 pm

The position holder will be required to communicate regularly with clients, management and colleagues located outside Quebec as part of work and case follow‑ups. An intermediate level of spoken and written English is required.
