Become an Ocean Import Coordinator with GEODIS, a leader in global logistics solutions. This role involves load planning, carrier management, and optimizing shipment processes to enhance client satisfaction.
As an experienced coordinator, you will handle client orders, optimizing load profiles and scheduling. Your expertise in transportation management systems will support daily operational needs as the key point of contact for clients. You will assist in logistical challenges and ensure adherence to all international regulations while monitoring shipment performance closely.
Key Responsibilities:
• Optimize load profiles and assign carriers efficiently
• Respond to client inquiries with timely updates
• Create financial reports and analyze load data
• Coordinate with carriers on performance and pricing
• Develop proactive cost-saving initiatives
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of logistics or coordination experience
• Proven customer service skills in a similar role
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
