The Bilingual Operations Manager supports daily terminal operations, including LTL freight handling, forklift operation, clerical duties, and staff coordination. This role requires strong operational knowledge, leadership capability, and the ability to assist the Terminal Manager including coverage during absences. This is an on‑site role at 2800 Av. André, Dorval, QC H9P 1K3, with a scheduled workday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m,

with hours’ subject to change based on business needs. Reporting into the Terminal Manager.

• Manage daily LTL freight coordination, ensuring accurate handling and efficient workflow.
• Operate forklifts safely and effectively in accordance with terminal procedures.
• Complete clerical and administrative tasks, including documentation, data entry, and terminal paperwork.
• Assist with staff supervision, supporting the Terminal Manager and providing coverage during absences.
• Build strong working relationships and maintain a thorough understanding of terminal operations.
• Show consistent leadership, reliability, and commitment to safe and efficient terminal performance.

• LTL Operations Experience- experience supporting LTL freight activities.
• Bilingual (French/English)
• Forklift Experience- hands‑on operational experience in a freight or terminal environment, is an asset.
• Valid Forklift License - an active certification is an asset.
• familiarity with Truck Mate; considered a strong asset.
• Leadership & Communication-proven ability to lead, communicate clearly, and support team performance.
• Operational Decision‑Making-capable of assisting terminal supervision and contributing to daily operational decisions.
• Terminal Operations Knowledge-solid understanding of workflows, freight handling, and safety practices.
• Ability to stand, sit, walk, and perform occasional lifting as required.
• Minimum three years of related experience in operations management within the LTL industry.

Compensation for this role is offered as a salary range and will vary depending on experience.
