Receiving Shipping Clerk

AIM is currently looking for a Receiving / Shipping Clerk for its Laval, Quebec location, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Under the supervision of the team leader, you will be responsible for planning and organizing receiving and shipping schedules, as well as performing all other related tasks.

What you’re responsible for :

• Confirm customer visit schedules
• Work closely with the logistics and transportation department
• Greet customers courteously, following our procedures and requirements
• Help unload materials using various types of machinery
• Sort and inspect different types of metals and route them to the right departments
• Weigh metals on the scale
• Perform data entry

To join our team :

• You have at least 2 years of experience in receiving/shipping or in an industrial environment.
• You are known for your ability to set and manage priorities in a high-pressure work environment and make decisions quickly.
• You can express yourself in French and English (functional).
• You excel in customer service and communication with a professional attitude.
• You have basic computer skills and are comfortable with management software.
• You know how to use a forklift and are comfortable performing physical tasks.
