Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Summary

We are seeking an experienced, organized, and versatile Housekeeper to ensure the impeccable upkeep and smooth management of a private residence located in Westmount for a household without children. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining a refined, orderly, and comfortable environment for the principals.

This position may be part-time or full-time.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping & Organization

• Maintain the general cleanliness of all used areas (surface cleaning, dusting, floor care).
• Perform deep cleaning, including bathrooms, showers, oven, terrace, and balconies.
• Keep the residence tidy and ensure living spaces remain well organized.
• Make beds and change linens.
• Manage and maintain the wardrobe, ensuring personal belongings are consistently well organized.
• Care for furniture and delicate surfaces.

Laundry & Garment Care

• Sort, wash, and iron clothing.
• Perform minor repairs and oversee the overall care and maintenance of garments.

Domestic & Logistical Support

• Manage arrivals and departures: greet and supervise contractors during work or service visits at the residence.
• Oversee waste disposal and recycling.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Housekeeper or in the maintenance of a private residence.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Discretion, reliability, and professionalism.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Comfortable with the presence of a dog.
