Purpose of the position

Located on Boul. Gouin facing the Rivière Des Prairies, the Gouin-Langelier Complex welcomes autonomous customers or those losing their autonomy. There is a warm and friendly atmosphere where we feel  are currently looking for a maintenance worker to fill a temporary position (for the summer) full time, 40 hours per week, evenings and every other weekend. Working days: 1st week Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and the following week Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Specifically, your daily life with us will look like :

Perform minor repairs in apartments and common areas

Preventive maintenance on equipment

Assist residents with any deficiencies related to services provided by the residence

Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior

Required qualifications :

Good communication

Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset

Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and minor repairs
