On-Call Casual Caretaker Position

Become a casual caretaker with OCSB, providing essential cleaning and maintenance across various schools. Work hours are flexible, covering days, evenings, and Saturdays.

The OCSB is looking for on-call casual caretakers dedicated to maintaining school environments. This role includes general maintenance and cleaning, ensuring both interior and exterior spaces meet established standards. Candidates should possess basic mechanical knowledge and be comfortable working independently under physically demanding conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain school facilities according to standards

• Conduct daily security and safety checks

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• At least one year of related work experience

• Some secondary school education completed

• Familiarity with WHMIS regulations

• Must have a personal vehicle

• Ability to work independently and handle strenuous tasks
