Senior Maintenance Technician

Join an innovative team as a Senior Maintenance Technician at a facility in Montréal, QC, focusing on mechanical handling equipment maintenance. Your expertise in electrical and mechanical systems will be vital for operational efficiency.

You will report to the Engineering Operations Manager and engage in reactive and planned maintenance activities on various MHE. This role entails analyzing equipment breakdowns, performing repairs, and ensuring quality inspections are met. Collaborating with departments to enhance machine reliability and supporting junior technicians will also be essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• React promptly to mechanical and electrical MHE breakdowns

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and document repairs

• Perform assembly and subassembly repairs according to guidelines

• Collaborate with teams to enhance equipment reliability

• Conduct quality inspections and uphold safety standards

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical field preferred

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an automation environment

• Strong electrical experience in FMCG settings

• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems

• Comfortable with shift-based work, including nights
