Purpose of the position

We are currently looking for a resident superintendent in downtown Montreal, full-time and on call for emergencies. Are you said to be a versatile person, agile with your hands and with a keen sense of organization? You are the person we need! A member of the maintenance department team, the resident superintendent has the main function of ensuring the general maintenance of the building.

Specifically, your daily life with us will look like :

Make service calls

Remove snow and ice on sidewalks

Clear and salt the entrances

Preventive maintenance on equipment

Communicate the maintenance needs for materials and products and upkeep of the building to the immediate superior

Minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.)

Actively participate in various company committees - Know and apply company policies and procedures

Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior

Knowledge of plumbing and electricity

Able to lay floating floor

Able to change water heaters

All other related tasks

Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of the premises

See to the maintenance and monitoring of equipment and mechanical systems

Knowledge of fire safety rules

Knowledge of ventilation system

Preparation of vacant accommodation / turnover

Maintenance and cleaning of common areas

Garage maintenance and cleaning

Apartment cleaning

Required qualifications :

A DEP in general builing maintenance (as asset)

Customer service experience an asset
