Contribute to a clean living environment at Tendercare Living Centre as a Heavy Duty Cleaner. This part-time role is essential in ensuring the health and safety of residents through effective cleaning practices.

You will work as part of the housekeeping team, focusing on daily cleaning duties in rooms and shared spaces. Cleaning tasks include sanitizing various surfaces, managing waste disposal, and collaborating with staff to enhance the quality of resident care. Your commitment to cleanliness directly impacts the resident's comfort and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning of assigned rooms

• Sanitize surfaces, bathrooms, and high-traffic areas

• Change garbage liners and clean containers

• Maintain cleanliness of furniture and fixtures

• Assist in moving items for thorough cleaning

Requirements:

• Must possess a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent

• Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening is required

• Experience working with seniors is preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to perform physical tasks safely and effectively
