Maintenance Attendant - Metcalfe Hotel

Newly fully renovated and now part of the Gray Collection, our hotel is now entering a new era.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician performs all tasks related to the upkeep and repair of the hotel's facilities. They contribute to guest comfort and satisfaction through the quality of their work and proactive approach.
Responsibilities     Conduct regular inspections of the hotel to identify potential issues and prioritize maintenance and repair tasks.
Notify the Maintenance Manager of any significant problems requiring intervention and propose an action plan.
Respond promptly and follow up on maintenance requests from guests and other departments.
Carry out necessary repairs efficiently and timely to minimize negative impacts on guests.
Take necessary measures to address repairs that cannot be completed by the contractor technician.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to the schedule established by hotel management.
Follow established health and safety regulations.
Work hand in hand with the housekeeping department to ensure all deficiencies are addressed promptly.
Collaborate with other hotel departments to enhance the guest experience.
Perform other duties as needed and special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications     Relevant training in property maintenance.
Minimum of two years of experience in property maintenance.
Autonomy and a strong sense of responsibility.
Attention to detail and precision.
Organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.
Proactive problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills in French and English, both written and verbal.
