This permanent Housekeeping Aide position serves residents at Extendicare Medex on Baseline Road. You will clean and sanitize apartments, common areas, fixtures, and floors while following assigned schedules. The work includes documentation, safety practices, resident rights, training, meetings, and quality improvement participation.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean resident apartments and common areas thoroughly
Operate floor-care machines and steam-cleaning equipment
Strip, scrub, spray, and buff floor surfaces
Collect garbage and transport it to designated areas
Prepare required documentation according to residence policy
Requirements:
Good oral and written English communication skills
Knowledge of standard institutional cleaning techniques
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to meet physical job requirements
