Lead maintenance strategy at Essilor Luxottica’s Montreal Rx Laboratory, using reliability engineering and team leadership to protect equipment performance and safety.
The Maintenance Manager directs maintenance for production equipment, facilities, and supporting infrastructure. This leadership role advances operational excellence through preventive maintenance, CMMS planning, failure investigations, and corrective actions. It also supports manufacturing processes, automation systems, and equipment optimization while aligning priorities with Operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop maintenance strategies for asset reliability and operational continuity
- Analyze data and lead failure investigations with corrective actions
- Direct CMMS planning, scheduling, and maintenance execution
- Manage vendors, contractors, OEMs, spare parts, and service contracts
- Lead installations, upgrades, commissioning, budgets, and team development
- DEC in electromechanics, industrial maintenance, automation, or equivalent experience
- Five-plus years of industrial maintenance experience, including team leadership
- Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated systems troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of PLCs, preventive maintenance, CMMS, and root-cause analysis
- Bilingual French and English communication with availability outside regular hours
