Description:

CGI is seeking a strategic and innovative Director, Total Compensation to lead compensation and benefits programs in Canada. As a key member of the Human Resources team and reporting directly to the Vice President, Global HR Center of Expertise, Total Compensation, you'll play a pivotal role in developing strategies that attract, recognize and retain exceptional talent while ensuring internal equity, transparency and market competitiveness.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Contribute to global compensation strategy and bring it to life within Canadian context.
. Lead and develop a diverse team of professionals in compensation and benefits.
. Provide expert consultation and insight to internal clients on total rewards strategies, market trends and best practices.
. Collaborate closely with senior leadership and key business partners to design and maintain programs that meet evolving business and employee needs.
. Partner with corporate teams to support business with transformations such as mergers, acquisition and integrations.
. Tailor and implement global tools, guidelines, and training material to ensure alignment with Canadian requirements.
. Ensure compliance and fairness in all programs, including adherence to provincial pay equity and transparency legislation.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Requirements

. University degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Actuarial Sciences or related field.
. 10+ years of experience in compensation and benefits, ideally within a consulting environment and/or global organization.
. Demonstrated success in building and executing compensation strategies that aligns with Canadian legislation and promotes fairness and performance.
. Consultative approach and ability to build solid business relationships.
. A strategic mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
. Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
. Excellent project management skills with ability to drive consensus in cross regional teams.
. Ability to prioritize tasks and independently manage multiple competing priorities.
. Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
