Position: Operations Supervisor for Exports at DHL
Lead a motivated team at DHL Express as an Operations Supervisor in Ottawa, ON. Focus on proactive management of daily export operations for timely freight distribution and efficiency.

As an Operations Supervisor, you'll be at the forefront of operations management at DHL Express. Your leadership will drive team performance in export, clearance, and transit of packages, while maintaining cost efficiency and accuracy. Develop new procedures aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness and compile performance reports for management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and secure loading of aircraft daily

• Coordinate with forwarders, customs, and internal departments

• Implement operational productivity and cost strategies

• Provide coaching and feedback to team members

• Monitor progress towards goals and recognize achievements

Requirements:

• 3+ years in a supervisory role, preferably in logistics

• Knowledge of Canada customs and aviation regulations

• Experience with Dangerous Goods compliance

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• College or University degree preferred
