• Team Management
  • Manage and motivate the team towards achieving objectives and lead the action plans required to reach goals.
  • Ensure effective communication with support services (quality, engineering, technical services) to support the team.
  • Ensure continuous training and development of the team.
  • Responsible for cGMP training for new employees and ongoing cGMP training for existing employees.
  • Manage absenteeism and overtime.
  • Maintain an active presence on the production floor.
  • Increase autonomy and participation of production employees.
• Production Operations
  • Manage production operations considering staffing, knowledge/experience levels, radiation exposure, and tasks to be completed.
  • Generate the monthly production performance index report.
  • Manage raw material inventory with attention to expiration dates, deliveries, and analysis delays; optimize ordering quantities.
  • Issue the weekly HVAC monitoring report.
  • Review SOPs, production records, validation protocols/reports, change controls, and non-conformities.
  • Conduct scientifically founded investigations and problem solving within timelines; document appropriately and provide data for APQR.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of manufacturing operations, materials, and equipment.
  • Issue work requisitions for instrument calibration and repair.
  • Manage precautionary cleaning.
  • Support SAP activities related to production.
  • Delegate work assignments to meet weekly production schedules.
• Quality Operations
  • Actively participate in developing a quality culture among all production employees.
  • Train all employees on quality behaviors and improvements.
  • Ensure proper execution of operations (preparation, maintenance, etc.) according to procedures and in compliance with cGMP.
• Health & Safety
  • Responsible for applying and complying with health and safety rules and regulations.
  • Responsible for applying and complying with radio protection rules and regulations.

• B.Sc or M.Sc in science or chemical engineering
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with at least 2 years in a supervision role (unionized environment)
• Strong knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• French (written and spoken)
