Reporting to the Maintenance Director, the Electromechanic will support and optimize daily production through effective preventive maintenance and respond to unscheduled calls to achieve organizational objectives. They will be required to cover the entire plant and building in their various operations. They will also be required to work in multidisciplinary teams on implementation, repair, or improvement projects.

Starting at $ + $ 12-hour night shift premium + $ electrical license premium (if applicable). After 9 months, $ + $ 12-hour night shift premium + $ electrical license premium (if applicable).Status:
Unionized PositionSchedule:
Training on 8-hour day shifts, then assignment to a 12-hour schedule (3-2-2-3). Shift assignments are based on seniority and shift selection. As a new employee, you must be available to work 12-hour night shifts. The schedule includes working every other weekend.
Summary of Responsibilities
:
Act as the first responder in the event of machine breakdowns and be called upon to restart them.Diagnose problems with robots and programmable logic controllers.Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment, CNCs, PLCs, robots, ABB, etc.Interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical plans.Participate in process and equipment improvements.Ensure the installation, modifications, repairs, or replacement of production equipment parts.Participate in the implementation of new projects and improve equipment robustness within multidisciplinary teams. Complete all documentation specific to the position.Qualifications and Requirements:
Education:
DEP (Diploma of Professional Studies) in Electromechanics of Automated Systems, Industrial Mechanics, or any other equivalent training.Completion of Secondary 5.Electrician’s license or restricted certificate in equipment connection (asset).Experience:
2 years of experience as an electromechanic in an automated manufacturing environment (desirable).Experience with ABB robots and CNC machines.Experience programming Siemens PLCs (an asset).Knowledge:
Good knowledge of hydraulics (essential).Good mechanical, electrical, and automated systems knowledge.General computer knowledge.Understanding of geometric dimensional tolerances.Understanding of metal forming processes (asset).Essential skills required:
