Shipper; evening

The Shipper prepares goods for shipment and loads trailers according to the established route plan and standard loading procedures.

• Verify and weigh outgoing merchandise
• Prepare orders (pack, label, and scan merchandise)
• Load merchandise into trailers or onto pallets
  
  Organize items neatly and accessibly in the department
• Notify the team leader of errors or missing orders
• Participate in monthly inventory counts
• Refill packaging material containers
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow company health and safety standards
• Perform other related duties as required

• Experience in a shipping department
• Valid license to operate an electric pallet truck
• Basic knowledge of inventory items and computer systems
• Familiarity with metric and imperial measurements and basic math
• Responsible, detail‑oriented, and autonomous
• Strong teamwork skills
• Good organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle heavier loads with assistance
