Role Summary
General Laborer – support manufacturing operations and contribute to maintaining a safe, clean work environment across the production floor.
Responsibilities
Load, unload, and move raw materials and finished products.
Break down and dispose of packaging materials, including wooden crates.
Wrap chillers and prepare products for shipment.
Empty garbage and recycling bins regularly.
Operate basic machinery and tools in accordance with safety standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely (with certification).
Follow 6S standards to ensure a clean, organized, and safe workplace.
Follow supervisor instructions and production schedules.
Collaborate with other departments to meet daily production targets.
Be available to work occasional overtime.
Requirements
Mechanical skills.
Attention to detail and organization.
Manual dexterity.
Must be able to lift packages up to 50 pounds.
High school diploma.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience operating overhead cranes or forklifts (an asset).
