Machine Helper in Metalworking Production

Location: Mirabel

Leverage your skills in the role of Machine Helper at a leading metal products manufacturer. Your expertise in metalworking will play a crucial role in our production efficiency.

As a candidate, you should have 2 to 3 years of experience and a trades certificate. This position requires working on-site only, where you will clean metal components and assist in the transportation of materials. Adaptability and attention to detail are essential in our hot, dusty, and noisy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment to clean metal from excess materials

• Manually and mechanically transport items within the plant

• Grind or chip down metal surfaces

• Ensure cleanliness of work areas and machines

• Handle loads weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Requirements:

• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience

• WHMIS certification required

• High attention to detail and manual dexterity skills

• Strong oral communication abilities in French

• Capacity to meet physical demands of the job
