Supervisor - Paint Shop; Afternoon and Evening Shift

• Planning, organization and coordination of workload: ensure resources are available, assign work schedules, monitor progress and communicate variances.
• Distribution of workload, set priorities and take responsibility for daily activities related to assigned tasks while ensuring work quality meets the organization’s minimum standards.
• Supervision, accountability and team leadership: selection and hiring, orientation and training, supervision and attendance management.
• Operational optimization: maximize department throughput while minimizing operating costs through a lean manufacturing environment.
• Assume legal responsibility to ensure the work area is safe and that all employees receive the required training to maintain a safe workplace.

• High school diploma and/or technical training.
• Supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Knowledge of industrial painting processes and materials (an asset).
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a management or supervisory role – aviation experience is an asset.
• Basic computer skills (Excel and MS Office suite).
• Excellent communication skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Previous experience in aviation or a similar industry (preferred).
• Bilingual in French and English.

Monday to Thursday, 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM
