As an aircraft painter, your work will consist of preparing work surfaces and painting various surfaces (sections, fixed supports, fastenings) as defined by the assembly manuals.

• Comply with current health and safety regulations and report hazardous situations
• Prepare surfaces to be painted: clean surfaces and perform sanding
• Apply paint to the interior structure of an aircraft fuselage
• Work with the equipment described in the workstation technical data sheets
• Master the different steps of sanding, cleaning, painting, marking, application of self-adhesive films, and surface stripping
• Adapt to new technologies (pneumatic or electrostatic guns, sanders, working methods)
• Perform touch-ups or modifications if necessary outside the position

• You hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in bodywork. Experience in a similar role may be considered an asset. A combination of experience and training may also be recognized.
• You are fully able to read technical drawings and ideally have knowledge of Bombardier procedures.
• Your manual dexterity is a real asset which, combined with your technical knowledge, allows you to perform the required operations and to communicate easily with team leaders, method agents and engineers.
• You are comfortable wearing respiratory protective equipment as well as a uniform while performing your work.
