- Work with the A220 commercial aircraft program as Project Leader, A220 FAL Industrialization, on the Industrialization FALs team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada).
- Collaborate with final assembly lines in Mirabel (CAN) and Mobile (USA) to define the industrial strategy for A220 FALs and deploy improvement projects identified as critical.
- Manage large-scale industrial projects, contribute to industrial strategy development, and drive product improvements and reductions in assembly cycle times.
- Define delivery strategy (content, scope, resources, timelines, costs, risks, quality), plan activities, coordinate resources, manage budgets/expenses, and act as an interface between stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of the industrial strategy and manufacturing plan for the two A220 FALs (Mirabel and Mobile).
- Prepare and present progress status to management committees, securing appropriate hierarchical support as needed.
- Identify, evaluate and implement innovations to digitalize A220 FAL activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain close links with Airbus central teams, benchmark with other aeronautical programs, and act as an A220 representative.
- Act as a change leader and proactively propose measures to industrialize the FAL ecosystem.
- Engage and keep involved the resources and teams required to complete the projects.
- Degree (or equivalent) in engineering or a technical field in aeronautics.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including relevant experience in a final assembly line (FAL) environment.
- Specialist in industrial solutions with strong project management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership with coaching/training skills and the ability to influence and challenge the status quo.
- Ability to work with senior management as well as work teams, with diplomacy and resilience.
- Proactivity, strong autonomy, organizational skills and the ability to set priorities in a high-pressure environment frequently subject to change.
- Language skills:
Advanced level (spoken and written) in French and English to be an excellent communicator at all levels.
