The incumbent is responsible for carrying out all operations to remove excess machining material and clean the surfaces of machined parts.

Le titulaire du poste est responsable d'exécuter l'ensemble des opérations permettant d'enlever la matière excédentaire et de nettoyer les surfaces des pièces.

• Mounting and adjusting grinding wheels and abrasives, workpiece positioning and holding, and abrasion parameters.
• Perform pre‑departure inspections and visually inspect parts for imperfections.
• Abreaser surfaces and checking their condition.
• Clean and grind parts to remove defects and imperfections.
• Perform surface preparation or finishing operations.
• Perform continuous, high‑pressure, micromechanical, bulky, heavy or large product finishing operations.
• Perform workpiece protection operations: clean, maintain and ensure the proper functioning of grinding wheels and other tools.
• Identify the work to be done using the ERP system’s priority list by coordinating with colleagues.
• Ensure assiduous monitoring of all activities by timing the tasks performed according to the standards presented and inform the manager if timing cannot be captured.
• Perform the work according to the client’s requirements.
• Perform any other tasks to support production operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years experience in a similar position.

• Method and meticulousness.
• Good visual ability.
• Excellent stress management in demanding quality and precision work.
• Excellent proficiency in French (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of English is an asset.

• Good physical endurance.
• Good manual skills and dexterity.

• Organized.
• Good interaction with others.
• Ability to handle changing priorities and tight deadlines.
