Position: Aerospace Machinist Role Permanent

The role involves reading engineering drawings and blueprints, repairing machinery, and setting up tools to meet exact tolerances. You'll use precision measuring instruments daily to verify product dimensions and maintain meticulous inspection records to ensure quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints

• Repair machine tools and parts for optimal performance

• Set up and adjust production machinery and tools

• Fit and assemble components within close tolerances

• Maintain inspection records and complete reports on deviations

Requirements:

• Registered Apprenticeship certificate in machinist trade

• 1 to 2 years of machining experience required

• Skilled in using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools

• Familiar with various machining equipment and machinery

• Ability to stand for extended periods and attention to detail
