Position: Manufacturing Engineer at MDA Space

Join MDA Space as a Manufacturing Engineer in Montreal, focusing on the assembly and testing of cutting-edge satellite products. Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team to drive innovation in space technology.

As a key member of the Satellite Systems team, you will engage in inter-program cohesion and oversee the entire production process from design to acceptance by the customer. With a focus on continuous improvement, you'll monitor projects and implement Lean Manufacturing strategies.

Your role will be pivotal in ensuring product quality, optimizing processes, and selecting new technologies while maintaining documentation standards throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Suggest and implement advanced technologies for production

• Analyze and validate existing manufacturing processes

• Monitor costs and schedules with ERP tools

• Develop efficient testing methods and provide user training

• Participate in discussions to define production requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

• Bilingual in French and English

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Advanced computer skills
