Day Shift SMT Operator at OSI Systems

We are looking for a skilled SMT Operator in the PFC Flexible Circuits division of OSI Electronics. In this role, you will set up and operate advanced SMT equipment including stencil printers and reflow ovens, ensuring that our assembly processes meet stringent quality guidelines. Your attention to detail is vital in identifying and resolving any SMT line issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and verify pick-and-place machinery effectively

• Set up feeders and ensure BOM details are accurate

• Conduct inspections using AOI and X-Ray equipment

• Manage print quality and troubleshoot solder paste issues

• Perform preventive maintenance on SMT equipment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience with SMT processes in a manufacturing role

• Ability to read technical documents and BOMs

• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• Capability of lifting up to 25 lbs
